Introduction to Product Management
Students learn the role of a PM and how it differs from Project Managers and Product Owners. Covers product lifecycle stages, key PM skills (strategy, communication, prioritization), and understanding stakeholder relationships.

  • Product lifecycle (idea → launch → growth → maturity → decline)
  • Key skills of a PM: strategy, communication, prioritization
  • Understanding stakeholders: customers, business, engineering, design

Product Discovery & Market Research
Introduces user research methods (interviews, surveys, observation), market analysis (competitors, trends), and customer profiling (personas, empathy maps). Discusses problem vs solution space.

Product Strategy & Vision
Explains vision vs mission vs strategy, defining success metrics (KPIs, OKRs), and aligning strategy with business goals. Covers roadmapping techniques (short-term & long-term).

Product Design & Requirements
Learn writing user stories & acceptance criteria, wireframing & prototyping (Figma/Miro), and prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, RICE, Kano). Discuss PM’s collaboration with designers and engineers.

Agile, Scrum & Product Execution
Covers Agile vs Waterfall, Scrum basics (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives), backlog management, and the PM’s role during sprint cycles.

Product Launch & Go-to-Market Strategy
Learn MVP definition, Go-to-Market strategies, marketing channels, and launch planning. Discuss feedback loops after launch.
